We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, Instructions on how and where to send your package will be sent along with a return shipping label, $20 will be deducted from the potential refund to cover the shipping costs. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items.

Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. 

European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

How to Properly Launder Your Howdy Dawg Shredsuit

To maintain the performance and longevity of your Howdy Dawg Shredsuit, it's crucial to wash it using a waterproofing agent such as Nikwax®.

Nikwax® products are available at most outerwear retailers or online through sites like Amazon.com.

All Howdy Dawg Shredsuits come pre-coated with Nikwax® TX.Direct Wash-In Waterproofer, which allows water to bead off while keeping the fabric flexible and breathable. To preserve this feature, we highly recommend laundering your Shredsuit in two separate wash cycles:

First Cycle – Cleaning

Use Nikwax® Tech Wash to clean and refresh your suit without completely stripping its waterproofing.

Do not use conventional detergents, as they can degrade the water-repellent coating.

Second Cycle – Waterproofing

Use Nikwax® TX.Direct Wash-In Waterproofer to fully restore the suit’s water repellency and breathability.

Important Washing Guidelines:

• Nikwax® recommends washing no more than two garments at a time when using their waterproofing solutions. Since the Shredsuit is a single-piece suit covering both upper and lower body, it should be considered equivalent to two garments.
• After the second wash cycle, air dry or tumble dry on a low setting.

By following these steps, your Shredsuit will remain clean, refreshed, and as water-resistant as a merganser in a monsoon!
